After studying Financial Management, Anton spent the next few years working in the United Kingdom for Land Rover and Jaguar.

In 2005, he returned to South Africa and, for two years, worked in Corporate. In 2007, he decided it was time for a new challenge, and started his own business, running it successfully from 2007 to the present.

In 2021, Anton met with the Alpine management. Knowing that the Directors/Owners had a wealth of experience in the scaffolding and formwork industry, he decided it was time for a new challenge with a promising future, and joined the team as Financial Manager.

As Financial Manager of Alpine Scaffolding, Anton focuses largely on the following:

• Putting new financial systems in place.
• Building good relationships with suppliers and clients.
• Financial management & planning.
• Managing Debtors & Creditors.
• Assets register, depreciation and resale.
• Validation of internal documentation through reconciliation.
• Managing software systems: Xero and Simple Pay
