After matriculating in 1985, Arieff studied Computers and Book-keeping, where he passed with distinction.

Soon after completing his studies, Arieff began working as a Stock and Wage Clerk for a prominent Cape Town scaffolding company. He grew steadily within the company and was later promoted to the Scaffolding & Formwork Hire and Sales department.

In 2021, Arieff joined the Alpine Scaffolding team, with over 35 years of experience in the scaffolding and formwork environment.
