After studying Business Management, Charmaine joined the finance department of Donaldson Filtration Systems a Global Manufacturing Corporation.

While working she completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management and a BCom Honors Degree. During her 25 years at Donaldson, she covered various roles such as Senior Payables Administrator, Business Analyst, Financial Administrative Manager and Regional Finance lead for Sub Saharan-Africa in the company’s transition from JDE to Oracle.

In October 2023, Charmaine joined the Alpine team to assist the growing finance department. In early 2026, Charmaine assumed the role of Financial Manager.

As Financial Manager, Charmaine focuses largely on the following:

• • Putting new financial systems in place.
  • Building good relationships with suppliers and clients.
  • Financial management & planning.
  • Managing Debtors & Creditors.
  • Assets register, depreciation and resale.
  • Validation of internal documentation through reconciliation.
  • Managing software systems: Xero and Simple Pay.
