After completing her degree in General Psychology and Industrial Psychology Deborah began her HR career in the hospitality industry in Cape Town.

A few years later, in order to broaden her experience in the HR field, she moved to London where she worked as an HR professional for various companies and took advantage of the travel opportunities available.

Upon her return to South Africa, Deborah joined David and Peter at a scaffolding company in Cape Town where she set up and ran the HR Department for the next 15 years.
